Communications

The Communication Division is located within the Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office at 6556 Main Street, in Winnsboro.

This division is responsible for processing all emergency and non-emergency requests for service received by the Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office. The division operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has six full-time positions.

When we receive your call you will be asked to provide your name, the phone number you are calling from, the address you need a deputy dispatched to and a brief description of what the problem is that you are reporting. Depending on the severity of your call, you may be asked to stay on the line and provide additional information while the Patrol Deputies are responding.

Tips if you need to call:
